QCS Service Technician - Monticello, MS
Location: Monticello, MS
Salary Range: $90,950 - $123,050
Travel: Up to 15% for training and support at other locations as needed
Are you an experienced Service Technician with a passion for quality control and customer service? Join ABB’s team as a QCS Service Technician in Monticello, MS, supporting critical Quality Control Systems (QCS) for our Pulp & Paper clients.
What You’ll Do:
- Deliver on-site preventive and corrective maintenance, testing, and troubleshooting of Honeywell Experion QCS.
- Manage hardware and software quality control, addressing electrical and mechanical issues.
- Actively assist with projects, upgrades, installations, and advanced customer services.
- Foster strong relationships with plant operators, management, and other partners.
- Provide 24-hour emergency support (team rotation) and ensure accurate documentation of maintenance.
What You’ll Bring:
- 10+ years in electrical/electronics, instrumentation, or process control (or equivalent military experience).
- Proven experience with Honeywell Experion QCS
- Strong skills in troubleshooting, electrical safety, and familiarity with electrical test equipment.
- Basic understanding of the papermaking process and DCS programming is a plus!
